This week Sugar Mama's had it's debut at a fabulous event called "Showcase in the Workplace," an annual company event where employees with private businesses can come in and sell their wares. Knowing that I would be selling to 750+ of my closest friends and co-workers, many of whom have already sampled my baking and would probably be nicer to me than complete strangers, I decided to take the plunge and officially open my doors for business.
Here's a picture of the cupcake stand that I built for this show. It held about 90-100 cupcakes and people really seemed to like it.
My favorite item of the week was the carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese icing and fondant berries and holly for decoration. These turned out to be so much prettier than I'd imagined. The red velvet cake and chocolate-peppermint cupcakes were similary delicious but this one took the cake. Or should I say "took the cupcake"?
The event was a total success and I have several orders to keep me busy for the next few weeks. But I'm ready and waiting for more to come my way.
So if you need any cookies, cupcakes, or cakes...just reach out. I'm here to satisfy your sweet tooth. You won't go away hungry. Not at Sugar Mama's - Where Every Bite Full is Delightful!
